I identify as non-binary, lesbian, queer. I am white and abled bodied and have an academic degree. An intersectional queerfeminist attitude is important to me personally and in my work. Which also means a critical whiteness and critical-racism approach. In everyday life, meditation and yoga give me stability and space to be, I also like movement such as dancing, jogging, cycling, boxing. Also Art, theater and activism are things I need in my life.

How I work:

I am passionate about the holistic health of my clients. With an empathetic approach, I help people to tackle their physical challenges, improve their well-being and experience joy in their own bodies again. Through individual therapy plans, I promote not only the physical but also the psychosocial health of my patients. I specialize in evidence-based and targeted pelvic floor therapy, pain therapy and queer-sensitive communication.

Session description:

  1. Pelvic floor check and initial symptom relief:

The physiotherapeutic functional examination using internal palpation and imaging ultrasound provides an accurate assessment of your internal pelvic floor muscles. The aim of the examination is to find out what anatomical conditions are present. This is the starting point for a better feel for your pelvic floor.

Part of the pelvic floor check is a detailed discussion, an internal palpation and ultrasound for a better understanding of your anatomy and, if required, a therapy report for colleagues in the checkout system. We will also discuss measures that can help you relieve your symptoms in the short term.

We need at least 3 appointments for this.

  1. Acute complaints and symptom relief:

Part of my treatment of acute complaints is a detailed consultation, physical examination of the affected body region and treatment in combination with active and passive methods.

The license as a non-medical practitioner for physiotherapy makes it possible to carry out my treatment without a doctor’s prescription.

We need at least 3 appointments for this.

  1. Targeted physiotherapy:

Not just getting rid of your symptoms in the short term, but a long-term improvement: At the beginning of the physiotherapy process, I take the time to take a closer look with you at your symptoms and possible correlations in their occurrence. I will listen carefully to your story, carry out a physiotherapy examination and we will draw up a plan to help you achieve your goal step by step.

During the process, we adapt your plan and increase the intensity of your exercises over time.  We need an average of 6 – 12 appointments for this.
